My name is Shinil Vaish. I’m an IT professional, a solo traveller, an adventure seeker, a nemophilist and a wildlife-photographer.

I’m in the IT industry for last 11 years and the only passion I thought I had was my work and then this happened…

I got my first taste for travelling in 2017, when I went on a backpacking trip to 10 European countries in a month’s time and from there the journey of my nomadic soul started. My wanderlust has only grown, I have travelled around 21 countries and still there are so many places, I want to visit. Photography was never my cup of tea but with the urge to travel this art came as a trouvaille. And with the fondness and love for forest and wildlife, I turned into a wildlife photographer, who wants to capture every moment in both her eyes and in the frame forever.

I have an insatiable thirst for thrilling activities and live for adventure. I have done skydiving, scuba dive, bungee jumping, zipline, paragliding, parasailing, gorilla trekking, rafting, have explored jungles on foot and in hot air balloon. Will be adding more in this adrenaline rush adventure bucket, in the coming years.

Travelling to different places not only made my passport richer with Visas but also made me richer with the memories and experiences I had. I’m not a writer but I want to walk down the memory lane, to relive those moments again and cherish them in the stories with the people around the world.

Travelling — it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”

  1. It is amazing to see you in this role . Even if this passion is 2 yrs old, but something totally different from others. Photography is something, where perfection is needed but as we say ” Every odd is a style” , keep it up and someday you will be perfect. You are like a jack of all trade when you say, you are engaged so many activities .
Animals are so cute, their eyes tell us a lot and their behavior adds spice.

    Wish you best of luck

  2. Europe is Amazing…I suggest you must do a full day cycling along the Lake Constance bike tour – covering Germany, Austria and Swiss……

  3. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but
the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!

    1. Thanks Justin!

I’m using Blogger Buzz Pro theme. The theme works fine for laptops and iPads but it is not very mobile friendly. Although I have purchased the subscription for the same but planning to change it soon or will try to do some changes in the existing code.

All the best for your website!

These are challenging times and there are tough days ahead but I hope all ends up well for all of us.
      Stay home, Stay safe🙏🏼

  4. An Ode to Shinil

Aching ankle not broken spirit lays the damsel down
Curious eyes quickly glances through the hallway in doubt not frown
Grey goose caged in glass yearns with iron will
Spirit filled cask seldom last, the solivagant soul is still

Pitch in voice, yaw in gait as she stands her ground
Birds call across the rolling hills are faint but not drowned
Blooming flowers dot silicon valley, carpet the Himalayan slopes
Shades in curly locks, camera in steady hands are solo girl traveler’s hopes

Boots take on the Alpine challenge kicking aside the past
Leaving their distinct prints in the Maasai Mara endless vast
Serengeti tales imprint her timeless story alongside hooves and claws
A gentle breeze caress her distant gaze even as time seems to pause

Soaring heights where eagles dare sets her sights higher
Mother nature in her own time draws daughter nigher and nigher
Portal and portraits are mere glimpses of the pure glitter within
The beauty and her beast are once and forever in perfect unison

    1. Thanks a lot Anna for these enticing lines about me! Really loved every word of it.
Never knew there was a hidden poet in you😊
Thank you for this beautiful poem, it made my day❤️
